Having been a born again child of God for over two decades now, I have seen many female ministers of the gospel stand on pulpits to relay God’s messages with both power and precision.

It has been a hugely uplifting experience to see that the 21st century church has transcended the early frowning and embraced that a girl child can still perform as much as a boy child does. Obviously, this has faced much resistance from the patriarchal and illogical school of thought which deliberately misquotes the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 14:33-36 where he says that women should not speak in the church. The patriarchal subscribers go onto an overdrive to deliberately mislead masses, ignoring the fact that Paul gave that instruction in specific reference to Corinth women who were a perverse generation at the time. It is a theological discussion for another day.

However, even with the embracing of female ministers, I personally have rarely come across women who are actually founders of ministries. My guess is that even when one is genuinely called to do so, there are many societal hurdles and barriers to leapfrog before a woman can actually be accepted as a founder of a ministry. Even to those who have attempted to do so in the past, the society has labelled them with clandestine names that are befitting to hell.

But today I want to take this opportunity to love, encourage and appreciate genuinely called female founders and ministers of the gospel. More so, I want to do so with a special mention to my one and only friend who fits into that rare category, Prophetess Hannah Christine Gutu; who is the founder of Today's Deboraz International Ministries. The organisation is jointly-headquartered in Zimbabwe and Malawi. She has many other supportive institutions to that same cause. To me, she has been a great inspiration both in ministration and deeds. Since both of us are children to Bishop Pride Sibiya and Pastor Anna Tendayi Sibiya; it has been easy to link up and share many ideas of life and ministry at large. What a wonderful woman she is.

In celebration of all female ministers, I re-publish below one inspirational message written by Prophetess Hannah Christine Gutu on 13 November 2019.

Dear Friend:

I have a very heavy burden in my heart.

Every day I watch how people react to other people all over the world, and I can feel the world bleeding. An eye for an eye is the order of the day. Putting out fire by fire. When we believe one has done wrong we all want the same wrong or more to be done to them also.

Where is the Church in all this? The Church is busy fighting to prove who is more anointed than who. They are busy on Facebook trying to prove who has the correct doctrine than who. I am heart broken. The shepherds are getting hit and the sheep has been scattered. Where is the love? Too many hurting people walking out there. Hurt people hurt others.

True Christians lets rise up. The world needs healing and let’s refocus to our main agenda: Bringing God's message of Love to the world.
