Historically and culturally, the African landscape has generally been programmed to be masculine dominated and centred.

Nearly every aspect of the African life was tailor-made around the male child as the heir apparent to his family’s legacy and resources. In the whole spectrum, the girl child had been pushed down the packing order and left classified as a “child-in-transit”, given that she was expected to get married and become a child-bearer on the other side.

Many African girls-cum-women who had great potential have suffered the fate of this skewed corporate vision and socio-cultural practice.

However, somehow one of Africa’s beauties has defied this rhetoric thinking and backward notion. She is none other than Dr. Lucy Natasha, who has curved a spectacular fairy-tale that is inspiring many young girls and women across the whole world. She is also inspiring many progressive men across the divide.

Rev Lucy Natasha is a firebrand apostolic and prophetic voice within Kenya, Africa and the world at large. She is the Founder and General Overseer of Prophetic Latter Glory Ministries International.

Oracle 1, as she is effectively known across all spheres of life, has been blessed with a charismatic voice, stable approach and charming looks. Over the years she has built a massive brand, and physical and online presence that has gone on to transcend yesteryear standards.

Natasha is a renowned author who has published numerous Christian books on various subjects addressing the body of Christ and humanity issues. To further cement her cap of accolades, Rev Lucy Natasha is the first African Woman to receive the World Civility Ambassador Award and an honorary doctorate in Christian Leadership from the United Graduate and Seminary College; United States of America.

Rev Lucy Natasha has met and dined with presidents, kings, chiefs and other senior dignitaries who walk in the corridors and shadows of power. To signify her prowess and influence, the CEO Africa online publication has described her as “a leader who knows the way, shows the way and goes the way”.

Rev Lucy Natasha is still single, and looking forward to get married one of these days.

Speaking to Betty Kyallo of K24 on her relationship status, she said: “Currently, I am single. I was in a relationship that didn’t work out. Before you really get the ideal person it takes a long time and I also believe in what the bible says in Isaiah 34:16 that “not one will miss their mate for the mouth of God has commanded. There is somebody for everybody,” narrated Rev Natasha.

“I really desire to get married but to the right man. I am looking for a prayer partner, not a prayer point. You know, not the one you will always be praying for God, ‘do something, change him’”.

Dr. Lucy Natasha is still young, but her leadership influence and achievements have gone way past her age. This is a sure sign that an African girl child can still do things with exceptional excellence, without necessarily following the classical traditional means.

Achieving such a feat when you are still single, and still under 40 years of age, is something for the archives and the Guinness Book of Records.

Aside from her ministerial work, Dr. Lucy Natasha has changed the lives of many disadvantaged global citizens through her philanthropic outreach arm; The Natasha Hands of Compassion.

Salute to Rev Lucy Natasha! Salute to the African girl child. She can do even more today and tomorrow!

Signing out,
