Thinking Will Save You Time and Resources

Once upon a time, there once was a reputable master farmer who lost his wrist watch in the barns. It was a valuable personal asset to him.

After searching all over the hay for a long while, the master farmer gave up and enlisted the help of a group of children playing outside the barns. He promised them that the person who would find the wrist watch would be handsomely rewarded.

Hearing this, the children hurried inside the barns, went through from stack to stack but still could not find the wrist watch. Just when the master farmer was about to give up, one little boy went up to him and asked to be given one more chance.

The master farmer looked at him and said, “Why not? Try it one more time and will see what will come out after that”. So the master farmer sent the little boy back into the barns. After some few minutes the little boy came out with the wrist watch in his hand. The master farmer was both happy and surprised. He could not understand how such a young boy could find the watch where all the seniors had failed.

The master farmer asked the young boy to explain his story. “I did nothing fancy sir, but just sat down to listen. In the silence, I heard the ticking of the watch and looked for it in that direction. That’s how I managed to find the watch”.

The young boy got his reward and went home happy.

Moral of the story:
A peaceful mind thinks better than a worked up mind. Allow a few minutes of silence to your mind every day, and see how productive you become.
