Money is the medium of exchange between two parties undertaking a business transaction.

With money, you are in a good position to solve “all” your problems; but without it life becomes very hard to navigate here on this planet earth. Even the Bible makes it very clear that “money answers everything” – Ecclesiastes 10:19(c). However, as much as money “answers everything”, it has limitations in that regard; particularly on qualitative aspects of life.

The following are ten (10) of the many qualitative aspects that money cannot buy for you.

1. MANNERS:
Even with money, you still need to learn how to behave in the presence of other people without irritating them.

2. MORALS:
There is no direct link between wealth and moral worthiness. Morals are informed more by other factors such as your family background, how you grew up, what consistently see or read, what you practice, your religious beliefs and other spiritual factors.

3. RESPECT:
Respect is earned over time. You cannot buy it with money.

4. CHARACTER:
Good or bad character has no link to the amount of money one has. Instead, it is built around your moral worthiness.

5. COMMON SENSE:
Common sense is a gift of thinking and decision-making. It has no link to money and wealth.

6. TRUST:
Trust is a by-product of consistent behavioural aspects. You can build it or break it based on your behaviour over time.

7. PATIENCE:
Being patient is a virtue of life. It is heavily linked to one’s character.

8. CLASS:
Class depends on the people who are willing to accept you into their grouping. You cannot bulldoze your way regardless of your status. You have to earn the group’s acceptance.

9. INTEGRITY:
Some people have lots of money but they steal from their neighbours. Others could be poor but still remain honest in all their dealings.

10. LOVE:
Love is embedded in the heart. You can still love with or without money, or vice versa.
