Pastor Anna Tendayi Sibiya

Bishop Pride Sibiya has been in the trenches ministering the gospel for over two decades now.

He is the Founding President and Presiding Bishop of Glory Ministries. Amongst his many sons and daughters; I have been priviledged to directly manage and administer him since July 2013.

He triples up as my Lead Pastor, District Pastor; and Bishop of Glory Ministries. In addition to that, he has numerous outside engagements; both at ministerial and professional levels.

Bishop Pride Sibiya is a married man with three daughters. His immediate family broadens up to include his biological mother, sister siblings, in-laws, close relatives and many other dependents who also live with him.

It is a herculean task to manage a Kingdom General of that magnitude. It calls for much more dedication, service and sacrifice. What I am going to share in this article series is informed by both experience and revelation.

2. Occasionally Give Your Lead Pastor Feedback:
Week in week out; your lead pastor spends countless hours preparing to preach and teach the word of God. It is very normal for him to wonder if he is really being effective in people’s lives. He might ask himself these internal questions: “Are people understanding my sermons? Am I really helping people in their everyday challenges? What do they think of me? Do they value my wife and children?”

Generally, people have a tendency of not giving direct feedback to their lead pastor. This is especially so when the feedback is laced with some negative sentiments. They would rather find someone else junior to vent their anger and frustration. However, with great application of wisdom, you should be able to give him feedback that is coming from the congregants. Understand well the timing, extent and convenience of giving him that feedback.

As the trusted lieutenant, learn to encourage your lead pastor. Let him know how God is using him in your own life. Call or text him at the end of a long week telling him what you saw God doing through him. Discuss his messages with him, taking time to share what God is teaching you through his ministration. Your personal words of encouragement will go a long way in encouraging your lead pastor.

May God bless you in your service as you defend the anointing.
