As people rise up and grow in using their natural gifts;
that also comes with great dominion and influence. And it may come a time that
some of them will begin to be viewed as demi-gods. It takes so much grace and
humility to preserve those people. The majority of them usually fall into that
trap of human praise singing; thereby permanently damaging their careers and reputation.
It should be noted; precisely so, that nomatter how
gifted you are, you still remain a mortal human being. You cannot and must not
be worshipped by people. And if people blindly do so to you; do not receive
such dangerous deification praises.
As a matter of principle; let us avoid at all
costs the deification of mortal human beings. That fatal mistake has been done to
many global leaders throughout the ages; and the respective countries have paid
dearly through pro-creation of dictators! Human beings should just be treated
as human beings, and never must they be deified to the levels of being taken as
demigods, NEVER EVER. Even Jesus Christ, though he is overally accountable on
all creation, but he didn't make himself the "one centre of power".
In the gospels, you actually see him delegating diverse roles to his disciples.
Even today, Jesus Christ gave us the power to heal the sick, cast out devils,
preach and teach the word. He is not the today's apostle, evangelist, prophet,
pastor or teacher. He fully delegated those roles and responsibilities to human
beings; a clear power sharing arrangement; though in the end he is the ultimate
accountable authority.
PLEASE, let's stop this nonsense of deifying presidents,
prophets, musicians, athletes, CEOs, you name it. They are mere human beings
and must be treated as such, because one way or the other they will fail us.
Eventually they will surely die and be buried. Let people be people, and let
God be God.
