Lisa Nicole Lopes, better known by her stage name
"Left Eye", was a great hip-hop superstar fronting the TLC group and
recorded some solo efforts. Blessed with a melodious voice, infectious smile and
gorgeous outlook, the world was just under her feet.
On April 25, 2002, in La
Ceiba, Honduras, while driving a Mitsubishi Montero SUV, Lopes swerved slightly
to avoid a truck, and on trying to avoid oncoming traffic, her vehicle rolled
several times after hitting two trees, throwing Lopes and three others out of
the windows. Lopes died instantly of neck injuries and severe head trauma. She
was only 30 years old.
This story reminds us that ONLY GOD KEEPS THE
TIMES. You could be enjoying your life, money and assets, but you have to know
at the end of the day that you don't control your time. Any minute, any second,
the plug can be switched off and you can find yourself on another side of life.
